Tree Safety

By: A. Pasma, 2016-06-08 07:45:22

I just read an article about a tree falling onto a home on Monday. Luckily no one was injured. I want to take a moment to point out that a tree can be healthy, and still be unsafe. Things to look for as far as safety concerns: large or small holes in the trunk, included bark or ant presence. These can all be signs that the tree is not structurally safe, regardless of the fact that canopy is full and beautiful. If you are unsure about the safety of your trees, it is best to have a professional come out and take a look. There are options outside of removal, including bracing and cabling.
