It is extremely important to observe your trees atleast on an annunally basis. This will prevent your tree from devoloping rapid spreading diseases and hazardous situations. People often wait untill their tree is sick or nearly dead before contacting an arborist to solve an impossible situation. An example of tree inspection for good health is to look for proper root growth, any crossing branches, dead or weak, and importantly function branches. It is easy to remove a branch that is smaller than letting it grow to be cut off when it reaches the house. This pruning is like what they do on an assembly line. Get rid of the wrong and leave the right. Having healthy trees will increase your property value, provide shade in the summer keeping your ac bill down and your window shades open. In the winter time the trees loose their leaves allowing the sunlight to penetrate through the tree increasing the sun on the roof and house which will heat your house more. This is creating a positive micro climate.

Fertilizing your trees in the spring with a deep root fertilizer will help your trees devolop the way they should. Commonly trees are rejected from growth by the nursery due to bad devolopment. This observing doesent stop there. Most people rake their leaves and bag their grass clippings providing no reoccuring organic matter to devolop. This is the only way residential trees get proper nutrients. Add salters plowing the slush onto your lawn, typical Oakville clay or extreme sand your trees are at a high chance of prolonged dieback. Trees should be given natural fertilizers (nothing chemical) in the spring for devolopment and a stabilizer in the fall for root growth and sustainability.
