Latin Name: Quercus robur


 


Family: Fagaceae


 


Size: Up to 120 ft, Normally mature between 80 - 100 ft


 


Shape: Bonsai look. Sparse branches and in random directions. Braches are full and dense with leaves


 


Trunk: Up t0 4 ft wide. Light grey and dark brown, solid, generally shorter and branches take tree form


 


Wood: The wood is hard, heavy and dense. Great firewood. These trees are strong.


 


Branches: The branches are dominant. The branches are like horizontal tree trunks that can grow wide.
